We recently had the pleasure of working on this 2022 Toyota Corolla. The owners called with us with questions about the different types of tint available. Our team explained the differences between traditional tint and ceramic tint. We were able to help them decide on which option would be the best fit for their needs. They wanted to reduce heat as well as add some privacy to their windows. They also wanted to add some shade to their windshield. We recommended a single-layer ceramic tint for the sides and back of their Corolla. This ceramic option met their needs for reducing heat but also kept them within their budget. This single-layer ceramic tint will offer excellent heat rejection. It is also available in several shades so they can obtain the privacy they want. Our single-layer ceramic tint will offer 99% UV protection. It will help keep the interior from fading and cracking and also protect it from the sun’s harmful rays. An added benefit is that this excellent heat-rejecting tint will not interfere with cell reception, or GPS, or satellite. For the windshield, they decided to go with a simple sun strip to keep the sun out of their eyes. We recommended our traditional darkening tint. This tint option is excellent for privacy and shade. The sun strip acts as a source of shade when driving. Especially if you’re driving with the sun head-on, which is common in Florida. A traditional darkening tint is an excellent way to obtain that shade while remaining budget friendly.
