The owners of this brand-new 2023 Kia Telluride recently reached out to us because they weren’t happy with their existing tint. When they purchased their vehicle, the dealership tinted the two front windows for them but they quickly decided that wasn’t to their satisfaction. When they came to us they shared their expectations for heat reduction and appearance.
Because they wanted to reduce heat, we recommended they go from a traditional darkening tint to a ceramic tint. Since they planned on reducing heat already, we recommended they consider tinting the sides, back, and windshield in ceramic tint. Once they checked out our in-shop heat demo they agreed this combination would be the best direction to go in.
They opted for a single-layer ceramic tint and were able to choose from several shades so the tint would be the same shade all around. They decided to go with a clear ceramic tint for the windshield to optimize visibility while still having the benefits of excellent heat rejection. This single-layer ceramic tint also offers 99% UV protection which will reduce harm from the sun’s rays.
