UV protection and heat rejection often go hand in hand when our clients are in need of tint. That was the case when it came to this beautiful Sanford-based residence. Our clients had existing tint on their shower windows that they wanted to be replaced with something more efficient when it came to their privacy and heat-rejecting needs. The tint only provided partial coverage on the window and they wanted us to replace it with full coverage.
For the shower, they selected a darker tint that provided a neutral exterior and interior appearance. It’s not shiny like other reflective tints but still provides maximum heat rejection and glare reduction. It also has the added benefit of excellent UV protection. By removing and replacing the old tint with this new one, they can expect the privacy and heat rejection they wanted plus a beautiful look.
While we were there, we also added tint to their music room. They had a piano in the room and needed to reduce heat significantly so the piano wouldn’t be affected by it. The large windows allow for plenty of natural light, which they wanted to remain unaltered. For their music room, we recommended a clear tint that will offer excellent heat rejection while preserving the natural look of the glass. This tint is highly reflective, to help with heat rejection, without adding additional shine to the glass.
